Congratulations to this year’s Slow Melody winner Lindsi Jennings – flugelhorn, who performed her prize winning solo Dimitri (Rodney Newton) with the HSSB at Sundays grande finale concert.
The Festival kicked off Friday with the Hannaford Youth concert with guests the JAZZFM Youth Big Band. The concert featured the finalists of the Youth Solo competition, adjudicated by Patrick Sheridan and Wycliffe Gordon.
Congratulations to this year’s winner, Nicholas James – euphonium, who reprised his performance of Philip Sparke’s Fantasy for Euphonium with the HSSB at Sundays finale.
