“Youth, community and the very best of professional music-making in joyous collaboration”

A Festival of Brass 2013 event, the Community Showcase features brass ensembles from the GTA and beyond, performing 45 minute sets on the hour.

Some will be vying for the Hannaford Cup, the HSSB’s annual award for excellence.This year’s “test march” is Mischievous Spirit by Gabriel Major-Marothy

In addition, Bands will be featuring their own soloists in the Festival of Brass Slow Melody Contest
