WILLIAM R. WILCOX, a Native of Pictou, Nova Scotia, received His B.Mus. Degree from Mt. Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. He is also a Colleague of the Royal Canadian College of Organists. He is a freelance tubist and composer in Toronto, Ontario who has played with various ensembles, including the Weston Silver Band, the University of Toronto Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the North York Concert Band, and the Etobicoke Concert Band. He has been active as a tuba player and composer for most of his adult life, and studied both tuba performance and composition while in university.
