Description

Québec Folk Fantasy has been a standard and a repertoire selection for military and concert bands since it was published by Chappell, England in 1960 as an army journal. The piece was written in 1952 for the CBC Radio Series, the Howard Cable Concert Band, heard in the U.S.A. over the Mutual Radio Network. The New York office of Chappell heard the broadcasts and were very impressed. Chappell then signed Cable for several publications in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The brass band fraternity have long wished for a version for brass band, and here it is, 60 years later, as QUÉBEC BRASS FANTASY!
