Description

Originally written as the second part of a triptych (Progressions) for the Hannaford Youth Program in Toronto, this MARCH takes the lyrical melody from the Prelude and reimagines it as a severe march full of triplet figurations.  In the contrasting Trio section, the original melody makes a return before the triplets take over in the dramatic conclusion. It is suitable for an intermediate level ensemble.
