Description

PROCESSION OF THE CHIEF for Concert Band was composed in 2001 and was commissioned by the Peel Regional Police Chief’s Ceremonial Band in honour of Chief Noel Catney. In 2004, Scott arranged the work for Brass Band and submitted it anonymously to the Hannaford Street Silver Band March Writing Competition where it won 2nd prize.  He even subbed out of playing the competition concert so he wouldn’t be tempted to give away the fact that he had submitted a march!
